You will be taken behind the scenes to see some hidden treasures at the Glasgow School of Art and Dai and Jenny Vaughan, well known Mackintosh enthusiasts, will guide you around the architects' acclaimed landmarks in and around Glasgow.

All passengers to join the tour at the hotel where there is an NCP car park on Fore Street close to the hotel where there is discounted rates of £8.45 per day. Parking is at the Hilton is free on a first come first served basis and this hotel is about 10 minutes by taxi from the central station at a cost of about £7-10.

Friday evening Illustrated talk by architectural historian, broadcaster and artistic couple Dai and Jenny Vaughan.

Saturday Private visit at the Glasgow School of Art with talk on arrival by member of School of Art staff. We continue our tour at the Hunterian Art Gallery, at the University of Glasgow to see the reconstructed interiors of the Mackintosh House. Lunch is at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, now completed after a major three year restoration project and whilst there, as well as a Mackintosh gallery, you can experience wonderful art and other exhibits at Glasgow’s favourite building.

Sunday Private visit and guided tour of The Hill House in Helensburgh followed by coffee. The impressive house was built by Mackintosh for the publisher Walter Blackie in 1902. Afterwards, visit the Scotland Street School Museum, a superb example of Mackintosh's architectural brilliance, with our final visit of the day is to the exterior of his House for an Art Lover.
